The Tide of Change is born to unite and share our efforts and responsibilities for the conservation of biodiversity and the Planet.

Inspired and aligned with the “Decade of the Oceans,” an initiative promoted by the United Nations under the slogan “The science we need for the ocean we want,” the Tide of Change aims to create a platform for connection between the most innovative science and citizens through participatory activities.

This year 2025, we link the theme of the Tide of Change with our «Humans» campaign to raise awareness of the main problems derived from climate change, and the solutions that are in our hands to reverse this phenomenon.

From education in the classroom, good practices and sustainable choices for everyday life, to nature-based solutions for our cities, this year we invite you to attend our dialogue tables and conferences to learn and fight together for the planet we want.

We are responsible for the engine of change that will guide us towards the Planet of the future: the Planet we want.

The Time Capsule

The Time Capsule is conceived as a virtual space for reflection to collect the wishes of different groups and help build the ocean of the future.

To commemorate World Oceans Day 2023, our Time Capsule was submerged in one of the Oceanogràfic’s aquariums to preserve the messages collected until the end of the Decade of the Oceans.

Thus, in 2030, the messages will be reviewed and compared with the objectives achieved during this important decade.
