Working to improve knowledge about biodiversity
Scientific research of the marine environment is crucial to understanding and protecting our environment.
The Oceanogràfic Foundation’s MAR (Marine Animal Research) Master Plan contributes to the conservation of biodiversity, both of wildlife and of the animals at the Oceanogràfic.
This plan is internationally recognized for the quality of its research and seeks to advance biological, ecological, and ethological issues of marine animals.
With five research programs and 20 lines of investigation, the MAR Master Plan addresses key issues for understanding and addressing the challenges in conservation, while maintaining the flexibility to incorporate new emerging projects.
