GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE AND CONTRACTING

These General Conditions of Use and Contracting (hereinafter, the “General Conditions”) govern access to and use of the website accessible through the domain name https://oceanografic.experticket.com/ and its subdomains (hereinafter, the “Website”), as well as the contracting of tickets through the Website.

Simply accessing the Website or the APP attributes the condition of user (hereinafter, the “User”) and implies acceptance of all the terms included in these General Conditions. If you do not agree with these General Conditions, the User must abandon any ticket purchase transaction through the Sales Channels.

By accepting these General Conditions, the User declares:

  • That they have read, understand and comprehend the contents herein.
  • That, in the event that they are going to contract any product and/or service, they have sufficient capacity to do so.
  • That they assume all the obligations set forth herein.
  • Ticket purchase system

To make the purchase, the User must click on the “ticket purchase” tab and select the date to make the visit on the calendar. Then, they must choose the type of ticket and visit session in the event that sessions with schedules are indicated for that day. If the data is correct, they must click on buy. Finally, they must indicate their personal data*, proceeding to payment after accepting the General Conditions of Purchase.

At the end of this process, you will receive a purchase confirmation email.

*Contact details are important because in the event of modification or cancellation of the visit, we would contact the user.

  • Email: To send you the tickets.
  • ID: To unequivocally identify you in case of an incident.
  • Credit card: To process the payment.

The prices of the products displayed on the website include Value Added Tax (VAT).

In the event of acquiring the ticket type with some type of discount, you must prove it at the entrance to the venue with your accreditation card. If you do not meet the requirements, you must pay the difference in the price of the ticket.

The acquisition of the ticket implies compliance with the instructions for use of the facilities displayed at the entrance to the venues and at www.oceanografic.org.

The ticket must be kept throughout the visit and must be shown to our staff when required. The company reserves the right of admission and to vary the programming.

The combined ticket for the 2 or 3 venues is valid for 2 or 3 consecutive days without the possibility of repeating the visit to the same element, depending on the venues acquired.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L allows, as the only means of payment, the payment of purchases made through credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electrón and/or similar cards). The card with which the payment is made must have a bank or savings bank as the issuing financial entity.

AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L confirms your order at the time you make the payment. All payment solutions are secure and guaranteed by banking and financial institutions. However, the User/Client must notify of any improper or fraudulent charge on the card used for purchases, by mail to info@oceanografic.org, in the shortest possible time so that AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L can carry out the appropriate procedures.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L informs you that once the tickets have been purchased, returns or cancellations are not allowed.

The user must reliably ensure before processing the purchase the accuracy and suitability of the data entered. Not being able to attend the visit or making a mistake when acquiring the ticket are not reasons that allow the return.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, when an amount of a purchase has been fraudulently or improperly charged, using the payment card number, the holder thereof may request the cancellation of the charge to AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L, provided that the prior presentation of a complaint for these events is accredited.

The refund of said amount will be made by means of a written claim, which must be accompanied by the documents (complaint) that prove the loss or theft of the card with which the payment was made.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with current regulations on data protection, as well as on information society services and electronic commerce, the user accepts that the personal data provided at the time of registration, or any other provided to Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL for access to some of the services of the website, are incorporated into files owned by this company, in order to facilitate the provision of the services requested, for carrying out statistical studies of registered users in Avanqua Oceanogràfic SL that allow designing improvements in the services provided and for the management of basic administration tasks.

COMPLAINTS, CLAIMS AND REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION

The User can direct their complaints, claims or requests for information to the Customer Service of Avanqua-Oceanogràfic S.L., using for this purpose the sending of an email to the address info@oceanografic.org

AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L will respond to the claims received in the shortest possible time and in any case within a maximum period of ten business days from the presentation of the claim.

AVANQUA OCEANOGRÀFIC,S.L has official claim forms, which the User can request from the Customer Service of the visitor center.
