Seguimiento de tortugas marinas

Satellite tagging is carried out on hatchlings from nests on the Spanish coasts between 2021 and 2023, raised in head-starting programs. The objective is to obtain information about this stage of life to improve the conservation of the species.

The satellite tagging is part of the LIFE IP INTEMARES project (LIFE 15 IPE ES 012) “Integrated, innovative and participatory management of the Natura 2000 Network in the Spanish marine environment", coordinated by the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
