Turtle Release with SEA Plastics

Release of a turtle recovered at the Oceanogràfic’s ARCA del Mar, in collaboration with the non-profit organization SEA Plastics. We will explore concepts related to turtle biology and conservation, as well as the operation of the Stranding Network.

SEA Plastics was founded in 2016 by students passionate about the marine environment, dedicated to combating plastic pollution in the oceans. Each year, a new crew of young volunteers embarks on a sailing expedition through the Mediterranean, combining scientific research and awareness-raising activities. During these voyages, they collect microplastic samples to collaborate with research teams and contribute to international databases.
