Professional Fishing Day of the Valencian Community

The Professional Fishing Day of the Valencian Community is a leading annual event that brings together fishermen and their families, public administrations, the scientific community, and entities in the sector to recognize the work of the profession, share knowledge, and strengthen alliances for the sustainability of the sea. The program combines technical presentations on monitoring marine reserves, advising the fleet, and conservation projects, with institutional recognitions of skippers and guilds for their dedication. The day also includes visits to marine fauna recovery and reintroduction facilities to learn firsthand about programs co-financed by the Generalitat and the Oceanogràfic Foundation, thus promoting a practical dialogue between fishing and conservation.
