Beach Cleanup with CEIP Anna Lluch

We celebrate Science Week with CEIP Anna Lluch of Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia), whose students are joining us for a beach cleanup.

The objective of cleaning natural spaces is not only to remove the waste that reaches the beaches, but also the application of criteria to compare the pollution situation in different areas of the Spanish coast and prevent waste at its source. Systematic monitoring with waste registration and management criteria allows us to generate a database on quantities, trends, and sources of pollution in the sea.
