Environmental Volunteering – Cleanup at Parc Natural De l’Albufera

Action coordinated by the Racó de l’Olla Interpretation Center of the Parc Natural de l’Albufera

Following the episodes of torrential rains that occurred on October 29 in the hydrographic basin of the Parc Natural de l’Albufera, there has been a massive arrival of solid and liquid waste of diverse composition and volume, which has caused severe alterations to this protected natural space.

Thanks to the coordination of the Environmental Education Team of the Parc Natural de l’Albufera, the Oceanogràfic Foundation and its volunteer program will work on classifying waste deposited in this emblematic protected area after the passage of the DANA through the Valencian coast.
