Sea Turtle Release

Environmental action meeting organized in collaboration with the Trotafons Diving Club. The day will begin with a beach cleanup to collect solid waste, followed by its analysis and classification to identify the most frequent types of waste and their possible origins. This information is essential for designing more effective awareness campaigns and preventive measures.

The Trotafons Diving Club is a recreational diving and environmental association located in Puçol (Valencia), which promotes responsible diving and marine conservation. It is characterized as a family-friendly and accessible club, with activities aimed at both divers and people without previous experience.

To close the day, there will be a release of a sea turtle that has been rehabilitated at the ARCA del Mar facilities, within the framework of the Stranding Network of the Valencian Community. This action not only represents the success of the animal’s recovery process, but also serves as an educational tool to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our coastal and marine ecosystems.
