School Environmental Fair

Educational project with CEIP Pou de la Muntanya – Dénia

During the day, school groups will rotate through five thematic areas, combining educational workshops and recreational activities that encourage reflection on the human impact on the oceans.

The educational proposal is structured in two main blocks. On the one hand, the scientific and conservation workshops, which include topics such as the Mediterranean and Posidonia, where the ecological importance of this marine plant is addressed; sea turtles, with content on their biology, conservation, the Stranding Network, tracks, and neonates; and sharks, analyzing their key role in the ecosystem, the threats they face, and the problem of overfishing.

On the other hand, recreational and awareness-raising spaces will be developed, with activities such as an exhibition on threats to the sea, which includes participatory dynamics such as the fishing game, and a good practices space, where students can create mandalas and stories.

This environmental fair seeks to foster a critical and active awareness in new generations, integrating scientific learning with creative and emotional participation.
