Release of a Sea Turtle Recovered at the ARCA Del Mar

Release of a sea turtle recovered at the ARCA del Mar facilities with the participation of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students from the Santa Cruz de Mislata school, involving 70 students and their teachers.

The Oceanogràfic Foundation’s sea turtle recovery project aims to rescue, rehabilitate, and return injured or endangered sea turtles to the sea. Through the Stranding Network, reports of stranded or trapped turtles in fishing gear are addressed. Once recovered in the Oceanogràfic’s Conservation Area, these turtles are returned to the sea.

These events raise public awareness about the importance of conserving marine biodiversity, the impact of our actions on the environment, and the commitment to protecting the oceans.
