V Blue Planet Voyage Aboard the Cervantes Saavedra Training Ship

The Camilo José Cela University and the Oceanogràfic Foundation are embarking on the V Blue Planet Voyage, which will be held from August 7 to 10, 2025, aboard the Cervantes Saavedra training ship, a historic sailboat that functions as the UCJC’s floating campus.

This voyage is aimed at the general public, families, and sea lovers, and proposes an educational and sustainable experience in the Balearic Islands, with workshops led by Oceanogràfic biologists, release of a recovered turtle, observation of cetaceans and birds, microplastic studies, participation in active navigation, and onboard living, all focused on raising awareness about marine conservation through citizen science.
