The Oceanogr\u00e0fic Foundation and Caixa Popular join forces to promote awareness among visitors with the educational experience \u201cThe Sea in Your Hands\u201d and the improvement of the ARCA del MAR atrium. The initiative seeks to promote commitment to the protection and conservation of the marine ecosystem through the cleaning of beaches and natural spaces for the workers and clients of the collaborating entity. <\/p>\n\n
Similarly, thanks to this collaboration, the “Living Lake” experience was launched. This initiative offers aquarium visitors an educational and environmental awareness activity to explore the biodiversity of the “Living Lake.” The Oceanogr\u00e0fic’s lagoons are a recreation of l’Albufera de Valencia and, in addition to being a refuge for thousands of animals, help us understand the importance of wetlands in the conservation of species. <\/p>\n\n
The tour, designed for all audiences and adapted for people with reduced mobility, consists of seven strategic points that show the naturalization process of the lake and the diversity of species that inhabit it. During the visit, some of the Oceanogr\u00e0fic Foundation’s conservation projects are highlighted, such as the breeding and repopulation of endangered native species, including the samaruc and the fartet. <\/p>\n\n
